We are currently looking for Project Coordinator with experience in project controls/coordination to be based in Newcastle, UK.

**Main Purpose of Role**:
The Project Coordinator acts as liaison between various parts of the project and carries out project management tasks as needed by the Project Manager (PM). The role will vary between projects depending on the requirements of the PM and the size of the project.

**Responsibilities**:

- To carry out tasks as required by the project manager.
- Provide project controls support liaising with engineers to ensure accurate project planning, resource planning, project performance measure and reporting in accordance with company Project Performance procedure.
- Support project manager ensuring all parties know what activities they should be working on and in what timescale.
- Liaise with finance team to ensure monthly projects accruals are submitted on time.
- Prepare and submit invoices to clients and support ensuring timely payment.
- General office administrative tasks.
- Supports business development and client engagement.
- Input to bids and proposals as required.

**Knowledge / Experience (Skills)**:

- Experience in Project Engineering, Project Control or Project Coordination;
- Understanding of cost control;
- Commercial and Contractual awareness;
- Good attention to details and accuracy of work completed;
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to identify and communicate solutions;
- Technical writing skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or similar level qualification within engineering, business management or similar.
- Experience in similar position is preferred.
