Overview
- To assist in the provision of an effective administrative and signposting service for Your Health in the community, to support the clinical functions of the service. Work in conjunction with colleagues, service users and stakeholders to provide an efficient clerical support service. To ensure that a high standard of customer care is provided at all points of contact and ensure this is done so using tact, discretion and sensitivity. To ensure positive promotion of SW Healthcare values and vision.
- Efficient and Professional Administrative/Signposting Service:

- Conducting IT research to find suitable services for patients
- Assisting patients with booking further appointments at their GP Practice
- Amending and sending out clinical documents (e.g., letters/referrals)
- Ensuring availability of appropriate care records and files for clinicians
- Inputting confidential data accurately and timely using SWHC IT systems
- Booking/utilising interpreters for patients as required
- Providing flexible administrative and reception cover as needed
- Liaising with staff, service users, and stakeholders
- Demonstrating excellent telephone skills
- Accurately recording telephone messages and other inquiries, referring as appropriate
- Providing effective communication and problem-solving face-to-face and via telephone
- Demonstrating compassion and sensitivity in all interactions
- Attending admin team/departmental meetings regularly
- Respecting all service users and colleagues at all times
- Receiving and signposting service users and visitors appropriately
- Being the first point of contact on the van, maintaining professionalism
- Making decisions and taking actions within the team for routine inquiries
- Identifying and promoting best practices and innovation for efficiency
- Planning and Organisational Skills:

- Organizing daily work tasks and prioritising to meet set timescales
- Undertaking prioritised work assigned by Supervisor/Line Manager
- Possessing standard keyboard skills
- Utilising SWHC IT systems for data inputting
- Familiarity and competence with various paper and electronic filing systems
- Patient Support and Integration:

- Providing non-clinical advice and information to patients
- Collaborating as part of an integrated team
- Keeping up-to-date with National and Trust legislation, guidelines, policies, etc.
- Participating in the effective introduction of new systems and initiatives for service improvement
- Responsibility for Financial and Physical Resources:

- Having a personal duty of care for all equipment and resources
- Maintaining stock control of stationery/clinical supplies
- Logging end-of-day reports and patient case studies
- Supporting data gathering for monthly reporting
- Traveling around Worcestershire to attend clinics as directed by Team Leader

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: £22,383.00 per year
