Cumbernauld, United Kingdom AG Barr Full time

**Job Title**:Communications Coordinator

**Location**:Cumbernauld

**We Are Barr - Are You?**

We are about being brilliant. We are always learning. We are results driven and relationships matter to us.

AG Barr has been quenching the nation’s thirst for over 145 years and is home to some of the UK’s most loved drinks brands.

Employing over 1,000 people across four business units and ten UK locations, we are proud to be a responsible business that takes care of our people, values diversity, gives something back to our communities and works to minimise our environmental impact.

At our core is Barr Soft Drinks, home to some of the UK’s most loved soft drinks. Whether it’s the iconic IRN-BRU, launched in 1901 and still going strong today, the vibrant RUBICON fruit based brand or the unique range of BARR flavours, we brighten people’s lives with refreshingly different drinks.

And we’re growing, thanks to some exciting acquisitions in recent years, including the functional drinks brand Boost, FUNKIN which operates in the exciting and growing cocktail market and MOMA, which crafts quality oats into great tasting oat drinks and porridges.

There's never been a better time to join us

**What we’re looking for**

We’re looking for someone that’s a recent graduate searching for their first communications role. You need to have great organisational skills - spreadsheets make you happy, you love a deep dive into analytics, maintaining calendars and delivering programmes is what gets you out of bed in the morning.

AND

We’re also looking for someone with a creative outlook who thinks 'how'can I improve on that?’ when they see something that’s not quite right. We pride ourselves on doing things differently. We love the quirky, the funny - corporate communications need not be boring. Our people certainly aren’t.

**Your responsibilities will include...**

As a Communications Co-ordinator your responsibilities will include;
- Keep us organised - co-ordinate the communications calendar, making sure we’re on track and capturing the range of work we deliver. Help us know what’s coming up, what other teams are working on - and create a great comms plan for our business.
- Build strong relationships and contacts across the business so you can identify colleague, business and brand content
- Help the team to deliver comms across the business through a variety of communication channels e.g. Town Halls, Videos, Intranet, Digital screens, Website etc. Help us to deliver our company-wide charity activity and community support, encouraging involvement across our sites.

**What you’ll bring...**
- You’ll be degree qualified in a communications-related field with understanding and experience of modern communication tools and techniques e.g. social media, website management, Google analytics, schedule management.
- Knowledge of G Suite tools would be helpful as we use Google tools, not Microsoft.
- Full UK driving licence

**What we offer**

We believe in creating a diverse and inclusive culture where your voice can be heard. Our skilled, loyal and committed people are critical to the future success of AG Barr which is why we are continually investing in our employees to develop their talent.
