**What you'll be doing**

As a Multi-Trade, you will be responsible for completing all the necessary repairs in our vacant residential properties, alongside a mix of trade operatives, ensuring quality and safety for new customers who will be moving in.

You will work very closely with a team of trade operatives and colleagues from across the business, in particular our lettings team, ensuring a joined-up approach to empty homes delivery and driving positive cross team relationships with an attitude to succeed.

**More about you**

The Multi-Trade will ideally have a **City and Guilds NVQ level 2 qualification in Carpentry and/or Plumbing** or equivalent experience, and have a wide range of trade skills, together with experience of delivering high quality and timely repairs to domestic dwellings and the ability to provide accurate diagnostic solutions. You will need to demonstrate well developed trade skills primarily in carpentry and basic knowledge of plumbing, and as many of the trade skills below:

- Wet trades
- Tiling (floor and walls)
- Decorating
- Glazing
- Door and Window mechanisms

We require our Multi-Trades to have the aptitude to work with mobile technology (training will be provided) and demonstrate a commitment to delivering first class customer service, ensuring repairs are carried out to a high standard and, whenever possible, resolved at the first visit is important.

A full driving license is a must as you will be allocated your own van.
- At the same time you will demonstrate resilience and the desire to work in an interesting environment where no day is ever the same

We will need to take up a basic Disclosure and Barring Check for this role which we will do for you when you start.
