**What you'll be doing**

Working with the Responsive Repairs Department you will, predominately, be responsible for repair and replacement of paths, walls, and fences. These jobs will be in both communal and individual domestic properties. You will be responsible for the ordering of materials and plant relevant to the reported repairs, so excellent knowledge of job specification is important.

As a multi-trade operative there will also be occasion when you will be required to carry out other tasks other than external works which are relevant to the repairs for our tenanted properties, this can range from minor plumbing and carpentry works.

**More about you**
- You will hold a City and Guilds, NVQ or equivalent experience in a trade skill and a good standard of education including numeracy and literacy.
- You will have a proven quality of work to include skills such as external works - fencing, paths and walls, carpentry, decorating, wet trades and plumbing - and are able to deliver to tight deadlines, working alongside dedicated team of trades.
- You will have a good attention to detail and a proactive attitude, which will be focused on team targets alongside your own installs.
- The aptitude to work with mobile technology and demonstrate a commitment to delivering first class customer service, ensuring repairs are carried out to a high standard and, whenever possible, resolved at the first visit is important.
- A full driving license is a must as you will be allocated your own van. You will also need to be comfortable using handheld mobile and tablet devices.
- We will need to take up a Disclosure and Barring Check for this role **which we will do for you when you start.**
