The Faculty of Science and Engineering’s Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Team is looking for a passionate and highly skilled Appeals, Complaints, and Discipline (ACD) Coordinator to join our team in delivering high quality support and advice, coordinating activities in relation to cases to ensure consistency of approach.

You will be joining a dedicated and experienced team committed to facilitating fair, supportive, and efficient appeals, complaints, and disciplinary procedures within the University. You will be working closely alongside the ACD Officers and with colleagues across the Faculty and University. You will support the case-handling work of the officers, deputising where appropriate, and coordinate and take part in Summary Disciplinary Panels at Faculty level. This is a key role in the Faculty’s management of academic malpractice, and an opportunity to be involved in a fast-developing area of work.

We expect applicants to have significant experience in a similar role, which may have been gained in Higher Education or a related field. We additionally expect applicants to be have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, excellent IT skills, be able to work proactively and efficiently without supervision, and to seek to engage in continued professional development.
