**Role Title: Training Manager**
**Length: 12 months initially, potential for 2.5 years**
**Pay rate: £450 via umbrella**
**Location: Swindon (Hybrid)**
**Start Date: April**
An opportunity to lead on Training Strategy and build a team of trainers on a long-term contract project to assist End User training during a IT change project in a genuinely interesting professional services firm.
The employees include professionals in engineering, science, artificial intelligence (AI), information technology (IT), administration, communications, public engagement, finance, architecture, security, and much more.
There's the opportunity to build a team of 3 trainers to deliver the training and the project has a 2.5-year scope.
This role will be approximately 60% office based, but there's flexibility around work-life balance.
**Responsibilities**
- Produce the training strategy
- Create, own, and manage the training plan
- Work with team managers to identify training needs
- Collaborate with the Implementation partner to identify technical support areas
- Evaluate quality of training activities and track effectiveness
- Ongoing collaboration with the Business Change Team in regard to the over-arching Business Change delivery plan
**Desirable Skills and Experience**
- Experience creating training for audiences of thousands
- Experience on large scale software implementation/ERP Programmes and an idea of how to evolve ideas around this
- Effective engagement skills and the ability to build rapport with colleagues from very different backgrounds and job roles
- Track record of delivering training to employees
- Experience of IT change projects, oracle desirable
