Workflow Administrator

We are looking for a Workflow Administrator to join our practice team at Urmston Group Practice. This purpose of this role is to streamline paper-based and electronic correspondence coming into the practice to reduce the number of documents that our doctors need to read and action.
Your role will be essential to the delivery of a range of enhanced services and other service requirements on behalf of the practice.
We are looking for a highly motivated person who can work under pressure, use their own initiative and work as part of a team.
**Main duties of the job**
- Process incoming correspondence accurately, efficiently, and safely. Review all data within the correspondence and extract and record pertinent information such as new diagnoses and test results before forwarding on to other team members for action.
- To improve the accuracy of the GP register by increasing the identification and coding of people with long-term conditions. To use EMIS web and associated systems to ensure information is up to date.
- To work independently within defined parameters of practice, taking the initiative in a variety of situations and performing a range of administrative skills consistent with the role, responsibilities, and professional values of a workflow administrator
- To be aware of the full range of local NHS services available to patients.
- To ensure patients have access to high quality, easy to understand information to assist them in making choices about their care
There may also be a requirement to carry out other tasks.
**Salary**: £18,067.79-£49,300.72 per year
