We devise smarter systems to control and monitor oil and gas extraction. Innovating in the energy industry, our subsea and surface pressure capabilities are industry-leading. Our bespoke Production Facility in Newcastle Upon Tyne manufactures Flexible Pipelines for the Global Oil & Gas Market.

This role is vital to the operational and strategic success of the business, we are looking for a proactive, inventive and adaptable individual to take the reins of the Maintenance function on site. This role will involve you taking a leading role on driving improvement, optimisation and change across the site.

As a Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

- Managing the implementation of a rigid and formalised maintenance management and reporting structure and processes
- Developing and strengthening the existing maintenance team
- Managing the reduction of Maintenance Downtime and introduction of formalised reactive and preventative strategies with a data centric approach
- Managing development of individuals and the engagement of the team
- Managing the arrangements for staff safety and competence
- Checking that work is correctly prioritised and delivered to plan
- Checking that inspection and maintenance of assets is completed to standards
- Checking that safety, compliance, performance and business processes are followed

- Be a time served/qualified in a maintenance discipline
- Have a sound technical knowledge
- Have proven mechanical/electrical experience in a similar sector
- Have experience leading a team in a maintenance environment
- Have excellent problem solving ; communication skills
- Have the ability to organise and plan work efficiently
