We are looking for a highly skilled Elevator Maintenance Team Leader to join our team in Newcastle, UK.
About the Role:
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, based on proven experience, as well as a range of benefits, including a company vehicle or cash allowance scheme, participation in the company profit share scheme after a qualifying period, stakeholder pension scheme, 25 days paid holiday, plus public holidays, Mediacash Health scheme, and Wellbeing scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of elevator maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise.
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair work, ensuring timely service delivery.
- Plan and supervise works, ensuring they are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Update information and respond to messages using the company computer network.
- Process service reports, callout reports, client/consultant survey reports, thorough examination reports, and client correspondence.
- Conduct technical surveys/specific risk assessments/release training.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients.
- Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors to obtain spare parts and oversee specialist sub-contractors' works.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Maintenance or equivalent qualification (essential).
- Strong knowledge of lift systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
