The Student Voice Coordinator will coordinate and support the Students’ Union democratic processes and systems of student engagement. They will coordinate any relevant fora, conferences and meetings. They will schedule a programme of events and activities that support the Students’ Union engagement work ensuring the student voice permeates through all levels of Bradford College structure and decision-making processes. In addition, the Student Voice Coordinator will provide high quality training and support to student representatives and elected officers to develop their life skills.

**FTE**: Full time (37 hours per week)

**Contract Term**: Permanent

**Salary**: Starting at £26,296, progressing to £27,894

**Location**: Bradford College, Great Horton Road, BD7 1AY

Highly motivated with a positive and engaging personality, you will be able to build rapport with students and staff to ensure students are engaged with democratic processes in college and can translate these into their lives outside of college. You should be able to create inspirational learning opportunities where Student Representatives and Student Officers can develop their skills and utilise these to contribute to creating positive change within the college and wider community. An experienced mentor/ coach, you will be able to support elected student officers in the preparation of reports for a range of committees. Your exceptional organisational skills will ensure you are able to deliver a programme of events and activities to support Students’ Union engagement work and you will be able to utilise your strong communication skills to network and liaise with colleagues, internal and external to college, to ensure students are provided with opportunities to broaden their learning experience.

Education & Training
- Degree or equivalent qualification, or comparable experience in a relevant field.
- GCSE 5 - 9 (A*- C) or equivalent level 2 qualification in Mathematics (or willing to work towards this)
- GCSE 5 - 9 (A*- C) or equivalent level 2 qualification in English (or willing to work towards this)

Experience of
- working or volunteering in an education, training or support services setting
- contributing to development and implementation of strategies
- delivering innovative project work.
- supporting others to achieve positive outcomes
- designing and delivering training.
- working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- designing and implementing administrative systems and processes
