BDS are currently recruiting for an experienced team leader for a social justice charity based in the NG5 area of Nottingham supporting vulnerable young people aged 18 - 25

35 hours a week, Covering late shifts of 2 - 10pm or 3 - 11pm, to support the management of the night team.
We do however welcome applicants who are looking for a 9-5pm who would be able to work some evening hours also

Starting £13.86 per hour PAYE / £18.11 per hour UMB
Unsociable hours pay - to be discussed at Interview

To coordinate the day to day operational delivery of housing related support services within your allocated hub to improve the lives of young people using our services.
To oversee and ensure housing and property management standards are met working in conjunction with, Support Workers, the Service Lead and any appropriate external support agencies with the aim of adults achieve a successful move home or move-on and other measurable outcomes.

You will be expected to lead on ensuring we are working within our voids and arrears targets, complying with Tenure Law, and abiding by our Housing policies and procedures.

Regular checks on properties to ensure they are up to standard.

You will be responsible for the line management of night staff and ensuring our properties meet health and safety requirement through management of our day housing staff team

To work with area, operational and central support teams, and liaise with a range of external agencies and partners with the aim of supporting people to achieve a successful move home or move-on and other measurable outcomes.

Full job spec available on request,
Temporary ongoing position, initially through to the end of November with the possibility of being extended.

This would suit a team leader who has experience in Supported Housing, independent living or another housing background
