Contract: Permanent, full time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 5:30pm

Break details: 1-hour lunch, unpaid

Purpose of the role:
The First Impression Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily tasks in reception, switchboard and hospitality, including event management in liaison with the Facilities Team, to ensure a seamless service for clients and setting a new superior industry standard in a client’s journey.

A successful First Impression Team Leader will have a realistic approach with a strong flair for creativity and perfection without losing focus of the bigger picture. A First Impression Team leader must be highly interpersonal and empathetic and have a philosophy of leading by example.

The role includes managing a team of 6, with the responsibility for planning, co-ordination, and delivery of the service. Previous management experience in reception, hospitality, and events supervising a team of three or more direct reports is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Completing daily customer service tasks as required including managing cover for reception, switchboard, hospitality, travel, event management and overseeing audio-visual systems and housekeeping
- Ensuring that the workplace is always maintained in a tidy and well-presented manner
- Remaining compliant with all new and existing Williams Lea policies, procedures, and standards
- Managing the health and safety for the First Impression team and visitor areas
- Managing the staffing resource; playing a flexible role to cover team absences when required
- Delivering training to assistants, and ensuring that staff are given the skills needed to successfully carry out their role; including relevant training provided by Williams Lea
- Directly supervise First Impression Assistants, working closely with the Team Lead in the regional sites, tracking all aspects of performance including continuous feedback meetings and giving regular feedback to your line manager
- Manage and develop the First Impression team in a manner which builds mutual trust and respect, high motivation, personal accountability, and team participation.
- Ensuring that agreed service levels are maintained and exceeded where possible
- Collecting data and compiling a monthly report for the onsite First Impression service
- Managing the travel account for the client
- Routinely researching, proposing, and budgeting innovative ideas for the development of the onsite and companywide First Impression service
- To work closely with the Facilities and IT Team, in the organisation and the hosting of client and internal events
- Participate in cross-departmental and site projects
- Undertaking other reasonable duties assigned by your manager or the client
