The Head of Commercial and Contracts is responsible for ensuring the contractual delivery of outsourced estates services across the Trust’s estate including developing relationships with the service providers and monitoring the service provider’s contractual performance. The portfolio of the contract management team includes the Equans Estates Hard FM contract, the Birmingham Treatment Centre PFI, Q-Park parking contracts, EV Charging contracts and leases and licences covering our community estate. These total in excess of £16 million per annum.

The postholder will support the implementation and delivery of number of Strategic Projects related to the Estates function. These include; the Green Delivery Plan, the Estates Strategy Work, and aspects of the Regeneration delivery plans.

The postholder will work collaboratively with the Head of Estates and Compliance and the Head of Strategic and Capital Projects by providing expert commercial advice and support across the estates function. This could include providing advice to support the delivery of a Capital Project or procuring advisors and/or services.
