Location: Remote working with one day every 3 weeks in Birmingham offcies Rate of pay: £50-£60 per hour **OUTSIDE IR35** Role details: This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and successful in-house Corporate team. The team provides legalsupport in contracts, property and procurement and aims to support the wider organisation, with a proactive and solution-focused approach. The role involves providing complex legal and procedural advice to all areas of the organisation including Directors,external partners and other stakeholders. You will advise on Public Contracts Regulations and have a sound understanding of funding rules involved with public money. Experience of commercial contracts in relation to upskilling individuals, whether via HE institutionsor skills courses, would be highly advantageous. Experience of working within a devolved authority would also be advantageous, but not essential. You will be a qualified solicitor, barrister or equivalent with demonstrable relevant experience in relation tocommercial contracts and procurement within either a public and or private sector background. Key areas for this role include commercial contracts, procurement, funding agreements, public health contracts, IT contracts and frameworks. The successful candidatemust be well versed in public procurement and contract law, with emphasis on funding agreements and public funding rules. You must be adept at liaising with senior members of organisations, and be robust when necessary to protect your clients. You will balancecompeting priorities as you help clients manage large projects and programmes of work, commercial contracts and procurement matters. You will constantly maintain an awareness of the corporate and commercial implications of your advice. You will be engagedin often complex and interesting work within an experienced, supportive team which develops and values its staff.
