Are you an experienced and driven speech and language therapist who has the skills and knowledge to lead an innovative team of over 30 speech and language therapists and speech and language therapy assistants in the children’s team ? Are you committed to delivering and developing patient-centred, evidence based, and outcomes focused services for children and their families? Do you have a keen interest in quality improvement, service modernisation and transformation through research.
We are looking to recruit a qualified speech and language therapist to lead ABUHB SLT services within the children’s team across a range of clinical pathways. The post holder will have advanced people skills to:
lead partnership working within and external to Health Board
lead the speech and language team in quality improvement and service modernisation
Manage courageous conversations and challenging situations
The post holder will join an established speech and language therapy senior management team, support the governance of the speech and language therapy service and have delegated f inancial responsibility.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
