- Cove Care are looking for experienced Residential Support Workers in the Wolverhampton area, who have a caring nature and a genuine motivation to work alongside Young People with mental health, emotional & complex care needs from 10-18 yrs old in our Residential Care setting._
- We offer 24/7 care to Young People therefore the role will involve working a minimum of 8 hours per shift._
- 07.45 - 15.45_

- **Responsibilities Include**:_
- _Creating a friendly and relaxed environment for the young people encouraging peer relationships, self-motivation, self-esteem and independence._
- _To play an active part and promote the participation of young people, in the decision-making process of the home. To assist with the day-to-day administration of the home by completing and maintaining accurate recordings._
- _To work with the young people to encourage their life skills to promote independence and get them ready for the next chapter in their lives._
- _Provide a safe environment for the young people in our care_
- _Good communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships_
- _Be a good team player to provide a high level of care and achieve positive outcomes_
- _Encourage the young people to be motivated and take part in activities, education and extracurricular activities_
- _Have attention to detail ensuring correct information is recorded in all paperwork_
- _Demonstrate a commitment to own training and development_
- _Be able to adapt working practice to the ethos of the home_
- _Have resilience, motivation, and determination_
- _Can adapt to challenging and changing situations_
- _Be inclusive to all children and young people_
- _Be confident in using Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word, or willing to learn_
