**About the role**
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Volunteer Services Department to assist with supporting and helping our team of committed volunteers in providing a professional and valuable service to our patients and families.
**Your day will involve**
- General administration support
- Organising volunteer rotas within the hospice
- Assisting with recruiting
- Training volunteers as well as maintaining accurate manual and electronic records.
**About you**
We are looking for someone with
- Excellent administration skills and experience.
- Highly competent user of Microsoft Office packages as well as confident in the use of databases.
- High levels of accuracy within standards of work.
- Excellent communication, people and organisation skills as well as the ability to remain calm when working under pressure.
- Ideally you will have prior experience of working with volunteers and managing rotas

Oakhaven Hospice serves the community of the New Forest, providing in-patient, day hospice and community care for patients with life limiting illnesses and support to their families/carers.
