We are seeking to recruit an organised administrator to join our committed team to help support our medical and nursing staff at Oakhaven Hospice in providing a comprehensive administrative service.

**Position**: Clinical Administrator

**Location**:Lymington, Hampshire.

**Hours**: 27 hours per week, working Monday to Friday

**Salary**: £16,061.76 per annum (FTE £22,308 per annum)

**About the role**:

- Maintain communication with external clinical partners to advise and facilitate admissions, discharges or deaths.
- Organise admission process and patient transport requests.
- Support nursing team with administration duties, maintaining appropriate patient records, audit and minutes of meetings.
- Assist the volunteers with welcoming visitors into the Unit and keeping volunteers updated with patient changes and processes.
- Provide administration support and cover across all clinical teams.

- A compassionate, kind, and calm manner
- Proven Administration experience
- Excellent IT Skills and good knowledge of databases and software packages.
- Healthcare environment experience
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills with ability to be sensitive and compassionate in all communications
- An eye for detail, and with high standards
- Excellent timekeeping
- Excellent organisational skills and able to respond to changing deadlines professionally and efficiently

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 27 per week
