**Pay Rate**:
£17.76 per hour.

**Start Date**:
27/11/2023-End Date: 19/02/2024.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in realizing the Council's seamless local service delivery vision by executing administrative and customer service functions within the Contact Centre.
- Provide a diverse range of high-quality services that meet the needs of varied communities and internal customers through multiple access channels
- Provide all services with a strong customer focus, demonstrating courtesy and efficiency.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to diverse customer groups, offering swift and appropriate responses, particularly to distressed, irate, or individuals with special needs.
- Conduct all customer interactions in a polite, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Submit cases on behalf of customers.
- Refer unresolved actions to seniors, team leaders, or appropriate departments.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in customer service preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a flexible, collaborative approach.
- Passion for customer service improvement and commitment to continuous enhancement.
- Resilient, emotionally sensitive, and able to demonstrate a heightened level of tolerance.
- Ability to adapt and support customers in accessing digital services.
- Willingness to undergo training as provided.
