**The essence of the role**

This role will support the business delivery for HR on a 12-month fixed term contract, this will include managing the daily functions of the department and handling all HR queries, working closely with other members of the HR team providing a first class service to all managers and staff.

**Scope of the HR Role**
- Provide support with regards to attendance, performance, capability, and conduct
- Ensure best practice is implemented with regards to all HR matters
- Manage all processes for leavers, exit interviews and documenting all meetings
- Support payroll providing all information relating to leavers absence bonus payments
- Arranging and supporting all disciplinary and grievance hearings as necessary
- Support in developing employee engagement practices

**Prerequisites**
- Experience of an HR role encompassing all the above skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Attention to detail to produce accurate information
- Able to demonstrate the use of clear judgement in previous roles
- Warm friendly and approachable, punctual and professional
