Liverpool, United Kingdom Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Full time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic nurse educator to join the critical care education team at the Liverpool University Hospital Foundation Trust, Royal site.

Our Department facilitates 33 adult beds (Level 2 and Level 3 capacity) and prides itself on being a friendly, cohesive and inclusive team supported by outstanding multidiciplinary staff. We are extremely proud of the standards of care that we provide, as proved by our ICNARC data; more recently performing above average with Covid 19 clinical outcomes, CQC inspection’s, internal/external performance metrics and patient experience/family feedback.

We have recently merged with our neighbouring Trust and are now part of Liverpool Hospitals spanning across 3 sites serving the large population of Merseyside.

We have successfully moved into our new state of the art new hospital site which has improved the working lives of our team and patient experience.

You will have extensive, current experience in a level 2/3 Critical Care environment and will have completed a post graduate Critical Care Course with evidence of clinical competency at a minimum of Band 6 seniority.

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

The merger provides an opportunity to reconfigure services in a way that provides the best healthcare services to the city and improves the quality of care and health outcomes that patients experience.

The Trust runs Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, Liverpool University Dental Hospital and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

It serves a core population of around 630,000 people across Merseyside as well as providing a range of highly specialist services to a catchment area of more than two million people in the North West region and beyond.
