Part-time (12 - 16 hours/week) transitioning to Full-time (40 hours/week) after successful probationary period

**Position Overview**:
The Marketing and Operations Assistant role at WRAP is diverse and dynamic. You will be integral to ensuring a seamless customer experience while supporting our marketing efforts. The role involves multitasking across all areas of the business, making each day unique and engaging.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Customer / Member Experience**:

- Provide exceptional customer service to current and potential members.
- Serve as the first point of contact for resolving issues, queries, and problems.
- Assist with onboarding new members, ensuring a smooth welcoming experience.
- Manage CRM, access control and network setup for new members.
- Ensure payments are received prior to facility usage, handling transactions as needed.

**Facilities Management**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of common areas, meeting rooms, and offices.
- Coordinate with management for maintenance, repairs, and ordering consumables.
- Ensure office equipment and amenities are in working order.
- Maintain refreshments, cutlery, and crockery in common areas.
- Care for plants in the workspace.

**Event Management**:

- Plan and execute community events, workshops, and networking sessions.
- Coordinate with event providers, order catering and manage event-related supplies.
- Set up and dismantle event spaces, ensuring necessary materials and equipment are available.
- Promote events to members and encourage participation.
- Manage and coordinate third-party meetings and events, including setup and supervision.

**Community Engagement**:

- Foster a sense of community through regular interaction and engagement.
- Gather and analyse feedback from members to improve services.
- Represent WRAP at local events and networking functions.
- Facilitate meaningful introductions among members.

**Health & Safety**:

- Serve as a designated Fire Marshal and First Aider (training provided).
- Ensure implementation of WRAP’s health and safety policies.

**Graphic Design and Marketing**:

- Develop engaging content for social media, newsletters, and the company blog.
- Create visually appealing graphics and promotional materials using Canva.
- Write compelling copy for marketing campaigns and promotional materials.

**Social Media Management**:

- Manage and develop the company’s social media presence.
- Schedule and post regular updates, monitor engagement, and respond to interactions.
- Analyse social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve performance.

**Paid Advertisement**:

- Plan and manage paid advertising campaigns on Google Ads and LinkedIn.
- Monitor ad performance and optimise campaigns for best results.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of advertising initiatives.

**Marketing Campaigns**:

- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and campaigns.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Reliability and excellent time-management.
- Initiative, enthusiasm, and flexibility.
- Proactive and strong organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Passion for customer service.
- Experience in hospitality and events.
- Marketing qualification or relevant experience.
- Proficiency in graphic design, word processing, and spreadsheet software (Canva preferred).
- Technical proficiency in marketing and CRM platforms (Nexudus and Squarespace preferred).
- Keen interest in art and design.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

**Salary / Benefits**:

- Starting pay: £11.44/hr
- Overtime available during busy periods (1.5x rate after 6pm or weekends).
- Discretionary bonus.
- Annual pay review.
- 28 days holiday per annum (pro-rata, inclusive of bank holidays), with accrual up to 35 days.
- Subsidised childcare at the WRAP nursery.

**Shift Pattern**:

- Probation Period: Half day (4 hours) Monday - Thursday, 8.30am - 12.30pm.
