We are looking for a Direct Marketing Assistant Manager for Travel Guard direct to consumer marketing.  This role will manage direct marketing campaigns for the EMEA region, specifically Travel Guard Italy and Travel Guard Ireland. This individual will work closely with internal teams, as well as our online and offline agencies to ensure that marketing campaigns are successful. This job will manage marketing budget and refine campaign strategies according to KPI goals.  

The goal is to unlock the full potential in each colleague – empowering our people to grow as insurance professionals and add more value to our customers and AIG.

How you will create an impact

  • Manage digital marketing campaigns for Travel Guard EMEA direct marketing.
  • Work with vendor to manage print marketing.
  • Manage email program.
  • Ensure financial metrics are achieved.
  • Work with Travel Guard legal to oversee all direct marketing asset are approved.
  • Manage financials and create monthly forecast.
  • Oversee all-around consistency in tone of voice.
  • Work with internal team for campaign asset development.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators for online and offline marketing tactics.
  • Assist with campaign testing strategy.
  • Assist with KPI and reporting for campaigns.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications is advantageous.
  • Successful track record in marketing campaign management, with proven solid experience.
  • Fluent in Italian.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and decision-making skills with internal team, departments, and outside vendors.
  • Experience with digital and print marketing.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage budget.
  • Managing multiple projects by prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary with shifting objectives
