**Your new Role...**
- Lead business discussions and transformational activities in respect of ERP implementations/upgrades, ERP and tax engine maintenance, government mandated e-invoicing, boundary systems, VAT reporting software and VAT-enabled solution for incoming invoice processing
- Supply chain VAT lead, working with business stakeholders (finance, logistics, supply chain) to design, validate and optimise supply chain flows for VAT
- VAT ERP and tax engine implementation lead partnering with the business, third party implementers, third party service providers and IT resource to oversee, lead and input into projects insofar as the VAT implementation is concerned
- VAT implementation lead of Indirect tax digitization project (e.g.) e-invoicing, support IT during the connection of peripheric VAT relevant solutions (VAT refund supplier’s software, VAT compliance software)
- Monitoring upcoming changes in VAT legislation which may impact any of the companies, and leading on the implementation of any new requirements for VAT including designing what this needs to look like and process changes required
- Work closely with the business and partner to bring insights, manage workstreams which help to minimise risk for VAT and handling business drivers for any systematic improvements/updates
- Provide business specific indirect tax technology training to help the business adapting to the new systems
**Qualifications & Experience...**
- 7+ years working in indirect tax, either in a similar company or within an advisory practice working with multinationals with a global Indirect Tax footprint
- Experience working in operational indirect tax, with a focus on processes and tax data quality
- Ideally experienced in tax ERP (specifically SAP S4/HANA) and/or tax engine implementations
- Experience of VAT compliance and cross-border transactions and overseas obligations
- Location: London/Amsterdam/Warsaw
