The department and in-patient facilities are based at our hub unit at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. Day case surgery and clinics are undertaken flexibly at our spoke sites at Cheltenham General & Cirencester Hospital. The ability and willingness to travel between sites is essential.

Indicative Timetable

This post has been created in response to a change in our Deanery DCT allocation and will be finalised on appointment dependent on the number of appointees and past experience.

There will be a mix of new and review outpatient clinics, treatment sessions under local anaesthetic with or without IV sedation and assistance with treatment under general anaesthetic either as an inpatient or day case.

Study and Training

Both hospitals have active Post-graduate Education Centres and excellent library facilities. The OMFS outpatient department has a good stock of OMFS related texts and excellent office / IT facilities.

Study sessions will be built into the timetable and there are rolling audit / governance meetings on the 4thFriday of every month to which all team members are expected to attend
