As a Crew Travel Consultant focussing on advance Crew Travel you will work as part of the Manpower Planning department planning the most cost-effective Pilot & Cabin Crew Travel for future seasons including the forecasting and reconciliation of the budgetswithin the Manpower Planning team.
You will work closely with the Crew Travel Consultants in Crew Planning and in the TUI Operations Control Centre (TOCC) to ensure principles, policies and processes are applied consistently for Crew Travel throughout the period from pre-season planning throughto the day of operation.
We are happy to consider this role on a hybrid working basis with one day per week on average in our Luton office. This may increase at times dependent on workload.

This role is being offered on a Fixed Term basis for 12 months.

**ABOUT THE JOB**:

- As a Crew Travel Consultant your main focus is to support TUI Airways and TUIfly Nordics crew by delivering a safe and cost-efficient service to our crew communities.
- You will work closely with the Advanced Manpower Planning Analyst to understand the Manpower Plan and the flying programme for future seasons allowing you to plan seasonal travel requirements including long haul, midhaul and Nordic routes to ensure thatcrew are in place to perform their duties in accordance with regulatory Flight Time Limitations and relevant trade union agreements.
- Within your team you will effectively forecast the Crew Travel budget and ensure effective reconciliation post completion supporting Northern Region Airlines in providing accurate seat rate pricing to the Tour Operator for future seasons based on the CrewTravel required to efficiently operate the programme.
- You will need to be pro-active, anticipating the needs of our crew and the operational programme to explore all possible travel options, delivering to tight deadlines and within budgetary targets.
- Collaborate with Crew Travel colleagues in Manpower Planning, Crew Planning and the TOCC to support the arrangement of crew travel bookings and contracts and understand feedback from the current season that will enable continuous improvement of Crew Travelsolutions for future seasons
- You will accurately analyse data to ensure correct budgeting and purchasing processes and other financial opportunities across Northern Region Airlines
- Ensure cost efficiency and continuous improvement of crew travel related processes including identifying cost saving opportunities, forecasting and adjustment and financial tracking of bookings
- Undertake departmental quality system activity to ensure continued compliance and opportunities for improvement for advance Crew Travel

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Previous experience in a customer service based role
- Understanding of airline legal / regulatory agreements would be preferable
- Process and detail orientated with excellent organisational skills
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure; assimilate information, determine priorities and make decisions based on sound judgement
- Strong inter-personal and excellent communication skills, written and oral
- Ability to work as part of a team
- An enthusiastic ambassador of change who makes suggestions for improvement
- Working knowledge of Carmen and OpsMan preferable
- Working knowledge of Amadeus (or equivalent CRS) preferable.
