**About Unlocked**

Unlocked Graduates exists to break cycles of reoffending, with particular focus on breaking the link between disadvantage and reoffending. Currently prison is not a place which successfully does this: the average prisoner has 16 previous convictions and 48 percent of prisoners reoffend within a year of release. This is the problem which Unlocked Graduates exists to fix.

**About the role**

You will play an important role in attracting the highest quality applicants to work in prisons with Unlocked Graduates.

You will join a hard-working team with opportunities every day for collaboration with new achievements and experiences.

**How to apply**

First round interviews will be held during week commencing Monday 4 August 2023.

**Role responsibilities**
- ** Build strong relationships**; working with key stakeholders across universities, colleagues across the organisation, with potential participants, and manage those relationships throughout the recruitment cycle so we end up with the best possible applicants choosing to do the Unlocked programme
- ** Develop and deliver strategies**; with the support of your line manager, you’ll innovate on how to maintain and grow a diverse pipeline of high-quality applicants at your allocated universities, ensuring delivery of the target volume of hires required for Unlocked programmes
- ** Develop your line management skills**; managing our Brand Ambassadors (students who work for us part time on campus to promote Unlocked). Supporting them to deliver events and drive engagement to the programme (support is provided for those new to formal line management)
- ** Collaborate with our selection team**; supporting the screening and assessing processes, with the opportunity to input on the design of materials and implementation

**Person specification**
- Strong belief and enthusiasm for the Unlocked Graduates mission and values
- Knowledge and understanding of the graduate recruitment marketplace and experience working with stakeholders
- Track record of meeting targets and attracting a diverse pool of applicants.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make critical judgements and make decisions to overcome obstacles
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work independently
- Flexible, highly organised and able to prioritise work to meet deadlines
- Actively assesses performance to build on strengths and identifies areas for development
- Project management experience (desirable)
- Understanding of the role of a prison officer (desirable).
