We have registered a truly wonderful opportunity with internationally renowned researchers who positively impact the lives of millions on a global scale. The role will initially be focusing on recruitment, however once fully trained, you will be gettinginvolved in other fruitful aspects of the company Our client is looking for someone who is passionate, self-motivated, and pro-active.

The hope would be for the role to become a long-term opportunity however it is temporary for 3 months initially.

**Temporary HR Officer Responsibilities**

Initially, you will take on the following tasks:

- Administer the recruitment process
- Work together with line managers to prepare effective job descriptions and adverts
- Liaise with managers concerning staffing requirements and funding for posts
- Maintain records of expenditure on recruitment and advertising costs
- Arrange, advise and sit in on interviews as required
- Provide answers to questions regarding recruitment and selection, undertaking research and interpreting procedures to answer more complex questions as appropriate.
- Prepare and issue formal offer letters and employment contracts
- Maintain required records for all staff on file
- Ensure all new starter documentation is received: signed contracts, personal details, payroll details, occupational health forms etc.
- Assist the HR Manager with administration
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of all HR information

**Temporary HR Officer Requirements**
- Excellent attention to detail
- GCSE (grade 4-9) level English and Maths, or equivalent
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills, including a readiness and ability to take responsibility for processes and to bring tasks to completion
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and produce accurate, detailed work within deadlines
- Ability to build effective working relationships with both immediate colleagues and across departments
- Experience of working in a HR team / HR role (desirable)
- Well-developed IT skills (desirable)

**Location**

This role is based in East Oxford. Parking onsite is not available however there is excellent access to public transport.

This is a hybrid opportunity, working 2/3 days from home each week.
