The NET research team are looking to recruit a Band 5 Clinical Research Practitioner to join them working within the fields of Accident & Emergency, Neurosurgery and Trauma for a one year fixed term position, primarily based at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, however may involve working across Imperial's other hospital sites.

This role has an emphasis on research integration within the clinical setting here at Imperial, and very much focusses on patient advocacy throughout the research process.

Prior knowledge and experience of research delivery within a healthcare setting in addition to clinical experience or knowledge within the specialist clinical areas would be advantageous for the post.

Working both within a team and as an autonomous clinical research practioner, you will maintain a high standard of clinical work when carrying out research procedures.

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance in-line with Good Clinical Practice, adhering to Trust frameworks and acquiring CRP accreditation.

You will be an advocate of research in the clinical areas that the team connects with, as well as for the Trust.

Working within the NET Team will include being amongst motivated individuals from various nursing backgrounds including emergency and intensive care.

The Team strive to put patient care at their centre, providing opportunities to individuals both within inpatient and outpatient settings across neurosurgery, neuro-trauma, emergency and trauma care, as well as other speciality areas working within the emergency department, such as infectious diseases.
