From low-and-no to cask strength, Scandinavian akvavit to New Zealand single malt, stirred, shaken or straight-up; anything that a drinks enthusiast might conceivably be interested in can be found within our stores, cellars, and warehouses.

**Your unique contribution**
- Greeting and assisting customers, and going above and beyond to offer expert, hand-selected recommendations
- Handling telephone enquiries, forwarding on where necessary and liaising with the customer service team for online/mail orders
- Processing transactions and orders for customers, managing returns and potential issues with orders
- Assisting with private and monthly tasting events and continued learning through sampling and developing expertise
- Providing insight and commercial recommendations for stock listings and store range
- Regular replenishing of stock levels, rotation where necessary, and communicating requirements to the store management team
- Receiving deliveries, assisting with moving stock, and assisting with stocktakes
- Maintaining and updating visual merchandising displays
- Training and developing product knowledge for other team members on areas of product or category specialism.

**Your blend of talent**
- Must have solid, working product knowledge of at least one of the main categories (wine or spirits)
- Must have flexibility to work shift patterns during weekdays and weekends (5 days from 7)
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Previous experience in the drinks industry is desirable but not essential
- Passion for wines and spirits, and the drinks industry in general
- Proven sales track record and able to transfer skills to the drinks sector
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Natural problem solver and strong sense of initiative
- Effective communication skills and ability to enthuse and motivate others
- Exceptional attention to detail
