Rent Arrears Officer

Below is a brief summary of the role:

- Take prompt, early and consistent action to recover arrears of rent and other charges
- Comple with the organisation's policies and procedures, service standards, legislation and external regulation
- Agree and monitor viable and affordable agreements with customers in arrears
- Liaise proactively with customers in arrears, offering support and guidance to help resolve matters at an early stage
- Advise customers on our rent arrears policy and actions that they can take to avoid escalation
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in preparation for legal action, complying with relevant legislation and guidelines
- Represent the organisation in court effectively when required
- Maintainseffective communication and liaison with customers
- Maintain accurate records of action on all aspects of income management

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £25.00-£30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
