**The Role**:
Student Support Services are seeking a creative, innovative, resilient, and determined Student Finance Advice Officer with the ability to offer a fresh perspective.

The purpose of the role is to provide a consistent and professional service that supports the delivery of the University Strategy and associated priorities including;
- Ensuring the provision of an effective, efficient and empathetic Student Finance Service with the aim of offering students the best possible student experience, whilst they are studying at the University of Portsmouth, closely aligned to the University strategy and strategic programmes.
- Working with the Head of Department and leading the operational development around current student outreach activity, bursary administration and support for targeted groups.
- Working collaboratively as a member of the Student Support Services Department to ensure an integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of projects and services including leading and contributing to relevant cross Department initiatives, in line with strategic priorities.
- Representing your functional area at key internal committees and working groups and with external stakeholders.
