**Main Purpose of Job**:
Due to continued growth TBC Conversions are recruiting for an experienced Quality Officer to join the team.

You will be involved with the implementation and promotion of quality improvements and initiatives, carrying out risk assessments, inspections and audits along with providing support to management teams.

The successful applicant must be a good communicator, self-motivated, and have a good knowledge of SHEQ practices and current legislation, have experience implementing improvements and initiatives, carrying out inspections and audits. The role will involve implementing and maintaining our Integrated Management Systems, ISO:9001, 14001 & 45001 standards.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Support the implementation and management of the companies Integrated Management System
- Carry out quality assessments of all incoming and outgoing goods.
- Ensuring compliance with VCA requirements and relevant legislation relating to the conversion of wheelchair accessible vehicles.
- Resolving quality-related issues and adhering to deadlines
- Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records.
- Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met.
- Collaborating with management from other departments to ensure compliance and investigating non-conformances with TBC requirements and standards.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels.
- Monitor the production phase at various stages.
- Support a number of projects and departments to meet the requirements of the Safety, Quality and Environment Management systems.
- Carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
- Support the communication and promotion of the monthly QHSE themes.
- Champion QHSE initiatives in the workplace whilst ensuring that legislation is adhered to.
- Provide consistent and accurate quality advice to employees.
- Produce and maintain KPI’s on a monthly basis, identify trends and develop proactive measures, recording their findings properly and following up with management to ensure the issues are rectified.
- Assisting in the gathering of information internally in response to requests by regulatory organisations.
- Performing administrative tasks as required

**Required Criteria**
- Demonstrate a passion for Health, Safety, Environment & Quality
- Proven experience oworking with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards
- Able to work as a member of a team, but also capable of working on own initiative to meet deadlines
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient with MS Office Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills to interpret detailed information and regulations, with high level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong presentation and report writing skills
- Ability to liaise with staff of all levels within across the Group; Donnelly Group and TBC Conversions
- A full valid driving licence is required, as there will be travel between sites required
- Proven experience in a Quality role within a manufacturing industry
