We are an outstanding hospital looking for a highly qualified and experienced individual to deliver “safe, clean and personal” care in the role of Administrator/Support Secretary for Maternity Governance team at Royal Oldham Hospital.

You will work with some of the most inspirational people in the NHS; all of whom strive to make a significant and positive difference to the lives of our Women, birthing individuals and their families. Specifically, you will provide full secretarial support to the Lead Midwife for Education and Governance and the Governance Managers - Supporting the governance and assurance team in the administration of divisional and directorate meetings.

- Minute Taking if possible but not essential
- Good keyboard & typing skills
- You will be responsible for providing effective and efficient clerical, administrative and secretarial support to the team.
- Assisting in the administration of the incident and risk reporting systems on Datix loading documents, actions, reports and risks
- Supporting the maternity governance managers and assurance team to ensure timely response to requests for statements/information/reports/actions
- Booking meetings and the taking of minutes as and when required
- Clerical duties as required including collating and retrieving information as requested
- Adding information to Trust meetings systems including Teams and Admin control
- To use a variety of software packages such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel etc to produce correspondence and maintain records, spreadsheets and databases.
- To use the datix risk management and incident reporting system.
- To collate data as and when required
- To liaise with other staff in other services with external contacts.
- To provide general office duties
- Manage own workload and act independently within occupational guidelines, using own initiative, seeking advice where necessary from the governance and assurance team and line manager, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times
