Position Summary
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Digital Content Assistant to join the team based in our Glasgow Head Office on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a digitally savvy individual to work within Studio Edrington: Malts’ internal digital team, supporting the Digital Content Analyst in the implementation of Edrington’s global Digital PIM system. You will work within the DAM and other Edrington digital systems to ensure that all content, data and product information is optimised for the PIM integration and implementation project, enabling better brand experiences, longer selling windows, higher conversion rates, consistency of brand image, and less administrative work for our employees. This opportunity will support a key project and help Edrington optimise their digital content to reach their e-commerce and online experience goals and stay on the front-foot of industry trends and emerging technology.

**Job Description**:

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

- Supporting the clean-up of Edrington’s existing content in the DAM to optimise for user experience and PIM integration
- Sweeping for and removing duplicated content, identifying and fixing any ‘orphaned’ assets
- Liaising with brand teams for archiving and deletions, re-assign assets to new metaproperties where required
- Assign newly implemented tags or metaproperties to existing assets
- Assisting the Digital Content Analyst, identifying and deploying opportunities to better organise and streamline content
- Liaising with DAM provider for product updates and queries, establishing best workflow/systems to create market editable templates to allow for translations, edits and additions whilst retaining original design
- Developing training for global users with any changes to systems or ways of working
- Develop standardized practices for the archiving of assets, tagging, usage of metaproperties and streamlining of the overall user experience on the DAM
- Liaising with brand teams and markets to optimise content for PIM/DAM
- Develop relationships with global market contacts
- Ownership of tasks delegated by Digital Content Analyst
- Continued involvement in project and market calls including continuous check-ins with brand teams to adapt PIM and DAM to business requirements
- Work closely with IT on development of the PIM, training new users of both the DAM and PIM
- Keeping up to date with emerging trends and technology for e-commerce platforms and make recommendations
- Identifying opportunities to update Edrington’s assets to optimise search rankings

Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role you will evidence strong academic performance in STEM related fields, a HNC or HND in a relevant discipline is desirable however not essential. You will understand different file types and appropriate usage, Digital Asset Management system and use of taxonomy, metadata and information architecture as well as Content Management System and e-commerce platforms. An interest in digital systems with proficiency in Microsoft 365 products is essential to the role. You will demonstrate an organised workstyle and be detail oriented.
