As an apprentice at Barrhead Travel, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our online presence, engaging our audience, and driving traffic to our digital platforms. This apprenticeship opportunity is designed to provide you with hands-on experience and valuable skills in digital content creation, marketing, and strategy development. You will work closely with our marketing team to ensure a seamless integration of digital content across various channels.

**Responsibilities: (you will receive full training on the below, so don’t worry if you are unsure)**
- SEO Optimisation: Assist in conducting keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility and organic traffic to our website.
- Digital Analytics: Utilize analytics tools to track and analyse the performance of digital content and campaigns. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Website Management: Support in maintaining and updating the website, ensuring content accuracy, and optimising user experience.
- Graphic Design: Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics and visuals for digital content.
- Market Research: Stay informed about travel industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging digital marketing strategies to identify new opportunities for content promotion.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, travel consultants, and other departments to ensure consistency in messaging and brand representation.
- Training and Development: Participate actively in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs to enhance your knowledge and skills in digital marketing and content creation.

**Working hours**:
Monday - Friday, 9.00am until 5.30pm

**Salary**:
£10,296 per annum (under 18 years old), £13,974 per annum (18/19 years old)

**Benefits**:

- 29 days holiday, after two years working with the company your holiday allowance will increase by a day each year (up to a total of 35 days)

**Future prospects**:
There may be an opportunity to move in to a permanent role at the end of your apprenticeship should you perform well. Future salary will be discussed should you secure a permanent role at the end of your apprenticeship

**Important information**:
Throughout your apprenticeship you are supported by your skills coach and your account manager. They work with your line manager to ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.

At the end, as well as the valuable experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification.
