**Finance Clerk - Sales Ledger**
**Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes, MK16 9EZ**
**Salary - up to £25,000 per annum (depending on experience)**
**Full time role. Hybrid working model.**
We’re looking for a Finance Clerk specialising in Sales Ledger to join us and play a key role in continuing to support our business.

**What will your role look like?**
As the Finance Clerk - Sales Ledger at Welcome Break, you will be part of our Accounts Receivable team. Sitting within our wider Finance department with a focus on the Hotels finances of the Welcome Break business.
You will be involved with supporting the head office with credit control. Including sales invoices, debtor reporting and invoicing. With accuracy being of the utmost importance.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the sales ledger team with all aspects of invoicing, payment allocations and creditcontrol.
- Processing the invoicing for the hotel debtors.
- Reconciliation and allocation of funds received each week
- Generate statement for clients
- To perform credit checks on new and existing customers.
- Accurate management of Hotel system export including overseeing the posting into SUN accounts and reconciliation of the control account for weekly postings, internal cost charges and group bookings
- Allocation of funds on Hotel systems
- Reconciliations between Sun and Hotels systems to ensure accurate recording of debtors and balances.
- To communicate with debtors to resolve any queries on a timely basis
- Liaise with Hotels team regarding upfront payments and issues with accounts.
**About you**
Ideally we are looking for someone who has:
- Sales Ledger & Credit Control experience
- Basic accounting knowledge & numeracy skills
- Reconciliation experience
- Experience in dealing with operations within a multi-site business will be advantageous
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
