**Role**: Senior HR Advisor
**Schedule**: Full-time, Monday to Friday (2 days in the office, remaining days remote)
**PAYE Rate**: £20.83 per hour (Permanent equivalent of £39,000 per annum)
This position will be responsible for managing 1 HR Advisor.
**Job Purpose**:
As the Senior HR Advisor, you will be at the forefront of overseeing the provision of a high-quality HR service. Your expertise will be pivotal in providing valuable support and advice to senior managers, ensuring the proper implementation of HR policies, offering high-level guidance on complex casework, and actively networking internally and externally to foster the continuous development and learning within our institution. By joining us, you will play a vital role in meeting and exceeding all operational KPIs.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Collaborate with the HR Business Partner to deliver a proactive, value-added HR service that empowers our organisation.- Enable and support managers in finding practical solutions to management issues within our institution's unique cultural context.- Take the lead on employee relations matters, including handling complex casework with confidence and mínimal supervision.- Ensure effective management of HR contracts, ensuring compliance and smooth operations.**Main Duties of the Role**:
- Streamline employee relations matters by providing comprehensive support and oversight to the team in handling casework, including complex cases, and efficiently managing the casework management system.- Show your expertise by handling dismissals, tribunals, and other similar employee relations matters.-
- Provide accurate and timely statistical returns related to specific functional areas, contributing to management reports that support HR KPIs.- Conduct engaging workshops on HR topics and new initiatives for managers and staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.- Collaborate with the Head of HR and the advisory team on various HR projects and Continuous Improvement initiatives aligned with our People Strategy and Living Knowledge.- Conduct comprehensive reward reviews and make recommendations for change and improvement that align with the needs of our business.- Offer expert advice to hearing boards and appeal panels, ensuring they make informed decisions while guiding managers on effectively communicating outcome decisions.- Attend meetings with Trade Union representatives as required, providing high-quality advice on employee relations issues to ensure the delivery of an effective and harmonious work environment.**Minimum Requirements (Essential)**:
- Hold a CIPD qualification or an equivalent HR qualification.- Demonstrate proven experience as a generalist HR professional, showcasing your expertise in handling various HR matters.- Possess a successful track record in managing complex casework and supporting managers on employee relations matters with clear outcomes and strict timelines.- Stay up-to-date with employment legislation and professional HR issues, utilizing your knowledge to navigate challenges effectively.- Showcase strong diagnostic skills, enabling you to identify and address HR issues with precision.- Display proficiency in utilizing electronic tools for efficient HR operations.- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, essential for building effective relationships and driving positive change.**Additional Information**:
