HR Assistant

Ellesmere Port, United Kingdom Regatta Full time

This role is site based 37.5 hours per week, as we are not a 9-5 site there is some flexibility in how the hours can be worked. The department also provides limited cover for the Night shift. Typical hours and flexibility will be discussed at interview.

People support
- Co-ordinate recruitment activities including shortlisting, arranging and undertaking interviews, as well as assessment centres
- Assist the People partner’s with Recruitment Agencies and general recruitment
- Coordinate and take minutes at events for Managers such as meetings, recruitment, training, disciplinary investigations
- Advise Managers on key policies and procedures such as recruitment and attendance management
- Conduct and provide stats on exit interviews
- Supporting the People Partner’s with various HR projects

Administration
- Keep People system (PeopleHR) up to date and liaise with Head Office departments such as Group People Team and payroll to ensure accurate processing of starters and leavers, pay and overtime, shift rates, holidays and promotions etc.
- Responsible for the maintenance of recruitment and employment records including Proof of Right to Work, Training records, Absence records, Reference requests, Probation records, Subject Access Requests, Disciplinary and Grievance records.
- Production of Invite and outcome template letters relating to Employee meetings
- Communicate Payroll deadlines, process payroll adjustments, overtime and deal with any queries
- Produce Management Information as required, collation for the weekly reports for Management meetings, such as salary reports, headcounts, allocation and agency invoices.
- Support the production of Site communication, including the creation and maintenance of site wide information boards, including posters.
- Taking an active role in Site wide Charity and Social Committee events.
- General office and site administration as required

Learning & Development
- Become a super user able to coach Managers on use of HR system and spot check accuracy of attendance, holiday and sickness records
- Support and Deliver Inductions and Values Sessions for new starters at Pioneer Point
