**Head of Programmes and Delivery**

**Location**:Bristol (hybrid working)

**Salary**:£42,000-£47,000

**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week

**Our Client**:
Our client is a crime prevention charity that helps prevent people who have been to prison and young individuals at risk of going to prison from criminal activities. They offer an innovative rehabilitation programme that breaks the cycle of criminal behaviour in deprived communities. They have successfully directed individuals away from crime into meaningful employment, whilst improving community prospects.

**The Role**:
As a Head of Programmes and Delivery at a Charity, your primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the successful delivery of programmes that align with the charities mission and goals. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective execution of initiatives, coordinating resources, and collaborating with senior management and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes and be responsible for the successful execution of all programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Delivery Team and manage a small team whilst helping the charity maximise its impact on young offenders and those at risk of offending.

**Responsibilities**:
**Delivery Management**
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and completion of programmes.
- Follow, execute program plans, coordinate service delivery and assign tasks to ensure efficient execution.
- Monitor programme delivery progress.

**Resource Management**
- Coordinate with relevant teams and departments to ensure resources are effectively utilised.
- Assess resource needs and make adjustments as necessary to meet program requirements.
- Optimise resource allocation to maximise efficiency and effective delivery.

**Stakeholder Management**
- Report on program delivery progress, updates, and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Address stakeholder concerns and manage expectations throughout the delivery lifecycle.

**Risk and Issue Management**
- Develop risk mitigation and contingency plans to minimise potential impacts.
- Monitor and manage identified risks and issues, implementing appropriate actions.
- Proactively communicate risks and issues to stakeholders and senior management.

**Quality Assurance and Evaluation**
- Define and enforce quality standards and best practices for program delivery.
- Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to measure program performance.
- Identify areas for delivery improvement and work to implement corrective actions.

**Collaboration and Leadership**
- Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting their professional development.
- Facilitate effective communication and decision-making within the program teams.

**Reporting and Documentation**
- Prepare regular reports on program progress, milestones, and key metrics.
- Maintain accurate program documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

**Continuous Improvement**
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in program management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as appropriate

**The Person**:

- A proven track-record in Program and Delivery management
- Excellent copy writing that is compelling, effective and persuasive
- Experience of managing, managing and tracking service delivery
- Ability to manage a varied workload and competing priorities effectively
- A clean UK driving license and access to a car
- Experience of being part of a senior management team
- Experience of line managing staff
- Experience of delivering with on criminal justice sector
- Experience measuring and demonstrating social value

**Salary**: £42,000.00-£47,000.00 per year
