**About the team**:
If you are excited about how DevOps and Cloud can transform IT services in a challenging large scale engineering environment then this could be the role for you.

**The role**:

- To act as a Senior tester within the Business Unit Product Platform team and to support our departmental value streams
- To extend and maintain our Test automation capability and help drive out an automation culture
- Devise Test strategies and Test plans for changing systems in IT and OT environments, with both cloud based and on premise solutions
- Co-ordinate Infrastructure Acceptance Testing, Operational Acceptance Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Disaster Recovery testing across the IT estate
- To provide leadership and support to our Thermal IT Business Unit test function

**Skills required**
- Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques
- Strong knowledge of Automated Testing techniques
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, Selenium, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (knowledge of DevSecOps practices beneficial)
- Strong communication skills
- Experience of managing a team and developing individuals
- Knowledge of Lean practices
- A passion for improving way of working
