Our client, a leading international manufacturing company are looking to recruit an organised, professional, and efficient Dispatch/Logistics Administrator to support all supply chain procedures, from coordinating deliveries to managing shipping documentation.

Reporting to the Site Director duties include:

- Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requests
- Analyse incoming orders and determine appropriate routing and scheduling
- Track orders to ensure timely deliveries
- Prepare shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders and bills of lading)
- Coordinate supply chain procedures to maximize quality of delivery
- Schedule shifts for drivers and warehouse staff
- Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers
- Oversee the levels of our warehouse stock and place orders as needed
- Provide information to customers about the status of their orders

As an ideal applicant you will have good interpersonal and administrative skills and able to communicate externally with customers and internally with colleagues together with a strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and/or Sage would be advantageous, with the ability to manage the process of your own workload and excellent numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills.
