Despatch Controller and Driver

Owen Payne are recruiting for a Despatch Controller & Driver to join a fantastic company within the Willenhall area on a temporary to permanent basis.
- Previous experience Operating machines preferred but not essential.
- Full UK Drivers Licence is essential.

**Duties**:

- Assisting the despatch department with all duties including Goods in & Goods out
- Upkeep of steel and finished goods, Stocks & Stores
- Assisting in the general running of the despatch department
- Assisting the machine shop with machining components
- Usage of hand power tools
- Operation of Manual Lathes, Miller Machines, and other Fastener Production Equipment
- Covering all departments when needed for Production, Inspection, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Stores, Stock, Tooling, Packing and Handling
- Basic Maintenance & Cleaning of machines after use
- Ensuring all tolls are back to the correct location in a suitable condition.
- Driving company vehicles to perform collection and deliveries

**Working hours**:

- Monday to Friday
- 8.30am - 5pm

**Rate of pay**:

- £11.00 per Hour

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour
