Despatch Operative

Our client is currently looking for a Despatch Operative / Driver to join their busy team in Willenhall, WV13

**Hours of Work**: 40 Hours per week (Monday to Friday) 08:30am
- 17:00pm with 1/2Hour Unpaid Break per day

**Salary**:Starting at £24,000 per annum (3Month Review), Overtime at 1.333x Hourly Rate

**Contract Type**:Full Time, Permanent

**Despatch Operative / Driver Duties**:

- Goods In / Goods Out verification, upkeep of Steel and finished goods stocks / stores.
- To assist in the general running of the Dispatch Department. Assist with Control, Tidiness and organisation of the department, shopfloor, yard and vehicles.
- Bar cutting and identification for production needs. Also, where needed on occasions, assisting the machine shop with machining components by basic operating of Manual Lathes, Milling Machines, and other Fastener Production equipment and ancillary tooling.
- The learning and operation of all site activities covering areas such as Production, Inspection, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Stores, Stock, Tooling, Packing and Handling.
- Basic maintenance and cleaning of machines after use.
- Return of tooling to correct location in suitable condition. Driving Company vehicles to perform local collections and deliveries.

**Despatch Operative / Driver Requirements**:

- Full Clean UK Driving License
- FLT License preferred (training can be provided)
