If so, we invite you to join our team of **resettlement co-ordinators** for a leading **homeless charity** committed to providing essential **support and care to those with complex needs, including drug and alcohol recovery.**
Position: Resettlement Co-ordinator
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Type: Full-time hours potentially leading to a full-time contract after a 3-month review
Days and Nights available
Duties Include;
- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness, including but not limited to: intake assessments, case management, crisis intervention, and advocacy.
- Foster a supportive and empowering environment where individuals feel valued, respected, and heard.
- Collaborate with fellow team members, volunteers, and external partners to ensure the holistic needs of clients are met effectively.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions, progress, and outcomes.
What do I need?
- A **minimum of one-year experience** in the same or similar role. I am willing to speak to those who have two-years of experience as support workers in the UK.
- **Must have full settlement in the UK** as this role requires a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- A desire to help others with specific needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Basic admin skills to report daily logs appropriately.
- Ability and willingness to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to upholding confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards in all interactions.
**Salary**: £11.44-£12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
