**I am recruiting a Business Development Manager to join a market leading Energy business, to work remotely in helping them to continue to grow as a driving force in their sector. Paying a basic salary of GBP40000-45000 depending on experience, with anuncapped OTE of GBP60000+, I am really keen to speak to dynamic, high-achieving sales people who are eager for their next move.**
**What will you be doing as a Business Development Manager?**
You will be responsible for generating and pursuing new business opportunities in your designated area, through building a comprehensive territory plan
You will see to the day-to-day management of a centralised pipeline for recording prospect value & progress
Development of marketing campaigns and publicity to support your territory plan, whilst upholding the integrity and key values of the business
You will attend conferences, Bursar meetings, and any other events which are aligned with our target markets
You will build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
Price request, analysis, contract production and negotiation with customers including related administration
Negotiation with suppliers in-day to ensure best value for the business and the customer
Review value/success of various business activities such as attending conferences
**We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience**:
Previous experience working as: Business Development Manager, Field Sales Agent, External Sales or similar
You will have the ability to work from your own initiative and manage your own diary effectively
A technical understanding of both Gas and Electricity supply industry would be advantageous however not essential
You will demonstratable experience of achieving sales targets
Extremely driven, self-motivated with a hunger and desire to win
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels within client organisations, suppliers, business partners and associations
**What will you get in return for your work as a Business Development Manager?**

**Salary**: Basic GBP40000-45000
Uncapped OTE of GBP60k+
Home based, but with some travel for conferences and site visits, including overnight stays
Core working hours 8:30am - 5:30pm
Holidays: 31 days holiday plus the option to buy and sell days
Birthday day off
Laptop and work phone provided
