Blue Mar Ltd are looking for a Clinical Lead for their care home in Haunton Hall near Tamworth.

We are after an experienced Registered Nurse, with a background in elderly care desirable, to lead a Nursing unit of 25 nursing beds over 2 floors.

Haunton Hall Care Home is based near to Tamworth. The Care Home has a long history and is a spectacular building that sits on six acres with pleasant, landscaped gardens.

We provide a high standard of general nursing and residential care and specialised residential care for people with Dementia. The home is a warm and welcoming environment and is well maintained, we have a caring team who work hard to make everyone feel at home.

Haunton Hall is fully CQC compliant and offers general elderly nursing care in a friendly and homely environment where residents enjoy excellent standards of care and living thanks to some great facilities and design features.

Role and responsibilities listed below:

- A full-time, permanent contract
- 44.25 Hours per week which comprises of 1 RGN shift on the floor every 4-weeks.
- The remainder shifts are all super numerary, weekly shift pattern of 4 shifts which are all 8am to 8pm with an hour break.
- We are flexible on the timings as we want both of our Clinical Leads to work together.

Applicants for this Clinical Lead position should meet the following criteria:

- Experienced Registered Nurse RGN
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Qualified Nurse - active NMC PIN
- Enhanced DBS

**A SUMMARY OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To ensure that each resident is assessed for needs and has a formally developed person-centred Care Plan, ensuring the involvement of the resident and his/her family or relatives, as required. To ensure that appropriate individual care is given to each resident, in accordance with the Care Plans.
- To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute to providing a happy, efficient, and homely atmosphere within the Home.
- Carry out assessments and developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans for each of our service users
- To be responsible for the administration, and disposal of all medicines in line with documented procedures, and to maintain the necessary records.
- To assist with all notifications in relation to accidents suffered by residents, staff or visitors, in line with the requirements of the R.I.D.D.O.R. Regulations.
- To ensure the smooth operation of the Home’s Quality Management System.
- To assist the Clinical Lead in resolving and handling complaints received from residents, relatives, and staff.
- To cover nursing shifts due to annual leave and sickness as required.
- To be on call along with Clinical Lead on alternating weeks.
- To undertake any other duties, as necessities arise within the home.
