**Aftercare Technical Advisor**
**The Role**
**Responsibilities**
- Make accurate diagnoses of technical queries relating to warranty claims, product installations and commissioning so that solutions can be implemented at ‘first-fix’.
- Maintain proactive and regular contact with customers and colleagues to ensure satisfaction with the solution provided.
- Comply with all company Health & Safety requirements.
- Provide management with regular updates on tasks/resolution status and complete surveys and technical reports as necessary, cascading all key data to relevant colleagues for problem resolution and future product development/ enhancements.
- Attend training courses as and when necessary to ensure personal management and keep technical knowledge up to date.
- Provide excellent customer service by being helpful, professional, and courteous at all times.
**Person Specification**
**Key Behaviours**
Proactive customer focused individual with a strong technical or aftercare background, with a desire to develop in-depth knowledge of technical ventilation products and control systems. Well organised, commercially aware, and capable of problem solving in a fast-paced changing environment.
**Requirements (Knowledge and Experience)**:
Essential:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word or equivalent.
- Demonstrated commercial awareness.
- An ability to deal professionally and tactfully with customers in all situations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to negotiate and influence outcomes.
- Good organisation and time management skills.
Desirable:
- 18th Edition electrical qualification.
- Experience of a high call volume environment.
- A full current driving licence.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
