**The Role**:
To work collaboratively with the Head of Child & Adult Protection, Professional Lead for Child Protection and with partner agencies to develop a high quality child protection service, in line with national guidance, contributing to the strategic planning and development relating to Child Protection.

Implement Child Protection Case Supervision for identified staff groups.

Provide higher specialist advice in relation to the case management of vulnerable children including those in need of protection.

Contribute towards the development and implementation of support systems and training for practitioners within NHS Lanarkshire.

To work in partnership with member agencies of Child Protection Committee Sub Groups/Task Groups and be active in maintaining and further developing professional links with other local and national organisations.

To fully contribute to multi agency Initial Referral Discussions.

**What we'll need you to bring**:

- Professional Qualifications essential:

- Registered General Nurse/Registered Midwife with valid NMC registration.
- Educated to/working towards/operating at Masters Level.
- Post graduate expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality.

**It would be great if you also have**:

- Master’s Degree in a professionally relevant Discipline.
- Experience of Clinical Supervision.

**Contract type**:
Permanent

Full time

37.5 hours

**Location and Working Pattern**:
This role will be based in Public Protection within Regent House.

The working pattern for this role will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
